- Tappers at Jaya One

Just had my heavy lunch with Terry and Vinnie today at Tappers in Jaya 33.
Looks yummy? Hehe...
This is Chicken Parmigiana from Tappers.
Mozzarella and parmesan melt over breaded chicken in spaghetti tomato sauce served with chips and coleslaw.

- Restaurant Char Ciew Zai Wantan Mee - Paramount

Can you see where is the mee? Yeah, the spot in the sky (near ceiling) is the wantan mee  tossing by the sifu. Great show huh!!
Looking for delicious wantan mee, regardless curry, dried or soup?
Great, here is the recommended shop that selling very nice and special homemade wantan wee.

Normally we order wantan mee is based on small : 1 wantan mee, medium : 1.5 wantan mee, big : 2 wantan mee. Now, Char Siew Zai has their own size of handmade wantan mee, the small size of noodles is good enough for your lunch. Unless you are starving, then may consider medium or big. The portion served is slightly bigger than normal we do.

I always take dried wantan mee with crunchy roasted pork/tasty bbq pork. My colleagues prefer chicken feet that comes with mushrooms, curry wantan mee or dried wantan mee with braised chicken.

You do have a choice to have roasted pork/bbq port/chicken rice here. They are selling both noodles and rice as well.

Hehe... nice nice char siew can get here, come and try it out.. :P

- Umami House of Steamboat : Buffet (Opposite to Sunway Pyramid)

Umami.. like U Yummy..??!! :P
Haha..this is the best seafood steamboat buffet that I ever had.

We dined in 4 pax and chosen white curry soup and chicken soup as the bases (can served in 2 types of soup)
We started the buffet with light salad and drinks. The salad is so tasty; it served with coleslaw, boiled eggs, vege and etc that you can take whatever you want, and so to the salad sauce. GOOD..

Move on to the main course : Seafood.
Before this, we get ready our own special sauce to match our food. Variety of sauces were available on the table, awaiting your choice.^-^y
We took a lot of expensive seafood like big prawns, crab, mussels, scallops, GIANT clams (my favorite), something so called "abalonce slices", crab sticks, seaweed, fu juk, fish noodles and a lot a lot more.
We never take any instant noodles, mee hun, mee etc that considered heavy food (Shh..not worth, after taking these we will get full fast, haha.. we are devils)
Pui Mang took for us the fried chicken, grilled fish, BBQ chicken, sate and a lot more from the BBQ corner.
Terry took us the fried spring rolls, fish balls and etc from the corner that ready with some types of cooked food.

Well well well, we were so fulled and felt wanna rolling out from the shop to car instead of walking out. Hahaha... We did hide the only left over BBQ crab into the pot. Hahaha...Shh... luckily no fine on it.
We ended our nice buffet with some delicious dessert - Ice cream and pudding.
Emm..I would prefer ice-cream as the pudding was a bit weird taste to me.

Haha...will come back for sure as this is very very very delicious and nice.
Pui mang informed us that, we have missed out the meat and mutton for our steamboat session, which is only served base on customers' request.. Emm.. -.- wasted, must order it in next visit. Enjoy~~~

- Broga Hill - Semenyih

Broga Hill

A very good place to view the sun raise scene from top of Broga Hill. I have been there few times in years ago.

The beautiful scene has attracted a lot of hikers, families and even photographers to come over. Photographers can practice/show their strengths in shooting with a lot of nice photos that you can search online.
Not sure is that a preferable place for pre-wedding shooting as well? Emm, but how can they climb up with those cameras, wedding dresses, make up tools and etc..:P Haha..

Climbing up through aisle was moderately challenging and was not tough for beginner climbers.
This is why a lot of families bringing their children along. This activity can help to build up a closer relationship among the members and can train them to help each other if anyone needed.

Anyway, if you never been there, then you should go once to experience the scene yourself. It is really great. Go go go..

- Kopitiam K3K Benta Kaya - three 2 square

Ordered Fried Chicken Little, Penghulu Fried  Chicken, Kaya Char Kuih, rojak and drinks.
Hehehe.. food and environment okay but really pricey.
Not my choice of lunch in future.. Hahaha...

You can try the super size Curry Puff that colleague told me that is famous from K3K.

- T-Garden Cooking School in Cheras

Attending the first baking workshop at T-Garden Cooking School

Learned to make Chocolate Sponges Cake; Chocolate Cream; Chocolate Glazing;
Chocolate banana cake; Mango Mousse cake; Custard Cream; Fruit Trifle.

Mrs Ooi, who is passionate in culinary arts and now having 2000 ++ students. She is the founder and principal of T-Garden Cooking School and Confucian Culinary Academy. The school has been conducting culinary courses that have very well received, as evidenced by frequent interviews in all major newspapers and magazines.

During the workshop:
Most of the materials in class were in ready made form; such as cream, sponge cake, jelly, choco glazing..
We were just in charge to mix, to build the cake layers, freezing the cake, shape the cake in better way..
Most is like puzzling them into a nice looking cake..
Hehehe... due to the time contraints, the school has no choice to get most of the materials prepared to save students' time. This is because they have conducted the very first workshop that spent 7 hours for the students to prepare all the sponge cake, cream and etc, from top to toe. The students started complaining.

Well, other than this, they have variety of classes and courses available, such as : Japanese Cuisine, Thai Cuisine,  Local Cuisine, Baking, Italian/French Cuisine, personal cooking class and etc. :P But courses fees are counted in thousands while class counted in hundreds, pricey? or market price? I am no sure as well. You can attend any classes here if you interested.

Anyway, the cake was tasted by my few family members and they commented that the chocolate banana cake was alike the cake bought from Secret Recipe. Good one...
Will come back for classes but not courses. :P It was really fun to work with about 20+ friends together in a class.

- The Hills at Damansara Hill

We had Joyce's Birthday celebration at The Hill.
That is a place that I am so curious since I saw it's online advertisement.
Yeah, here came a chance for me to visit to.

It took about 10mins journey from Sentul.
It is a place that like a Pub and bistro.
Nice and romantic environment, good music, nice food and drinks are available here.
Perhaps these are the main reasons that is why it is always fulled and crowded.
Prior reservation is required.
Luckily we managed to get our seats, even we have not making any reservations.

Coincidentally there was another table of pretty girls celebrating 30th birthday to a sweet girl.
All of them are so nice figures with great dressing and with nice, sweet looking. Hehehe.. I can see a lot of men are attracted by them.
Photo shooting around, special balloons decorated for the only table, they were the focal point of the audience. Great great great....

- Nikudo Seafood @ SS2

Nikudo Seafood.

Me, Ken and Terry had our dinner at Nikudo Seafood last Friday after visiting to Terry's new house.
Nikudo is a very new restaurant that I had ever heard about the name until I saw it's advertisement on net.
It is a seafood restaurant + seafood supplier. They are now hiring marketing staff to run and expand their seafood businesses as well. Their seafood is fresh imported daily from East Malaysia.

Well, we arrived there at about 7.30pm. Ermm.. we were their only batch of customers that time. We randomly picked our seats and start ordering food.
We had Curry fish head, fried Yao Choy, Salted Egg Yolk fry Cuttlefish ; Cincai Teh, Watermelon + Apple juice, Orange + Apple juice.

The drinks is very special to me as they like to mix and match between the fruits, taste good.

With in short time, our dinner was all served on table. Small pot of curry fish head, normal portion vege and fried cuttlefish. The curry fish head was so nice and delicious, but felt bad that the portion is too small for 3. The fish has more bone than meat, the gravy and vege were perfect match with rice. Yummy..yummy..

Special salted egg yolk fried cuttlefish was so crunchy and tasty. They fried the cuttlefish until hard and crispy like biscuit, amazing that the cuttlefish was not burnt. First time try on this, it was great and I was non-stop eating. Hehe... I think I can finish the whole plate. Thumbs up..

The food was so nice; I will not come again for dinner but lunch. The lunch set is more budget than dinner. Our dinner has cost us RM80 just for 3 bowls of rice, curry fish head, fry cuttlefish, fry vege, 1 snack and 3 drinks. Too pricey to us.. Hehe.. I would like to try on Sang Ha Yi Mee in future, which the picture has made me drooling.

You may try it on if that is in your budge, nice one.

Haha.. I have no ideas and I have bought one. Hahaha

- Crystal hill in Setapak

Was an active hiker sometimes ago, not sure do I still have the strength to get up to the hills now?? These are some sweet memories photos that taken about 2 years ago.

Crystal hill that located in Setapak is as a rock hill to me. You need to climb across the rocks from start to end point. The view is super nice that which is out of your imagination. Double thumbs up, I felt that it was better than Broga hill's scene.

The hiking trip was full with excitements that you will come across the rocks and you will get across the nice grass field as well. After the hard time in climbing the rocks, you will pass by a big surface of land that covered with very soft grass growing on it. You can lay on the grass as bed to you, they are very soft and thick. Almost can fall asleep on it. Emm (deep breath), it was like a wonderland to me with the refreshing air. Nice one. We did bring along sandwiches and salad as our breakfast there. After a short break, we would need to head to the ending point; of course, again we came across with rocks. We need to climb with very careful and walk down hill with slow pace as the road was very slippery.

The whole trip was take about 3-4hours if I am not mistaken. You may bring along a headlamp if you wish to depart earlier and see the sun raise from the hill. Good experience to me. Heard that this is the easier crystal hiking hill (Part A), the is another harder session (Part B) that starting from the other end. If have a chance, I will go Part B to gain more nice experience in hiking. Heheheehe....

- Sungkai hot spring

Sungkai hot spring is an unique hot spring that located in FELDA Sungkai, Perak, Malaysia. The entire park was build on the natural hot springs that we believed they are good in detoxing and for healthy purposes.

I went there with colleagues few years ago, we were so enjoying and had sweet memories from the journey.
We visited to :
A) Hot spring VIP room, where we can adjust the hot spring temperature, soak in clean water, chit-chating, enjoying the food and drinks..and etc;
B) Water reflexology park that you can walk with barefoot along the hot stream of water that is covered with small stones;
C) The egg-boiling area that we made our own half boiled egg. The egg white was cooked while the yolk is still in liquid form, it was amazing and very delicious taste, loving it so much until now;
D) Last but not least, we visited the cold water theme park as well, it was like mini Sunway Lagoon.
That was a very very nice journey that be with my colleagues and gang. Missing my gang so much which some of them are my Ex-Colleagues now. Hope we do will keep in touch forever. Cheers....

- Lammeeya @ Uptown Damansara

Lunch at Lammeeya Uptown

Having lunch at Lammeeya last week. Our voucher sets came with a bowl of noodles + 1 plate of fried fu juk OR 1 plate of fried dumpling OR 1 bowl of fried fu juk and pork meatball.

We tried the dried curry lammee, original lammee soup, fried fu juk, fried dumplings and pork meat.
All of them are nice; but quite pricey. Hehe... I would prefer to have them at those small stalls, it would be more worth and tasty. Anyway, that was a good try in Lammeeya. Yeah..

- The Vanilla Place - Subang Empire Gallery

Subang Empire Gallery

Dined in at The Vanilla Place after the LEX Slides game.
Ken ordered Smoked Duck spaghetti, watermelon juice and coffee cheese cake as dessert.
I ordered Smoked Salmon spaghetti, 100 plus and Pavlova as dessert.

Emm... Yummy yummy, nice smoked duck slices, good matching with spaghetti; mine was great smoked salmon and perfect matched with cheese spaghetti...Hehe...they were really tasty. GOOD..
Nice cheese cake as desert but it should be common and can be getting in any cake shops.
Pavlova was a really new dessert to me, it came with soft biscuit > cream > soft biscuit >  cream > then decorated with some fruits on top of it. It was in layers. Ermm... it was slightly too sweet to me, but it was really good try. Yeah... ^.^ y

- Oshi Sushi Sharing Platter for 2 at Izakaya Ichiban - Hartamas Shopping Mall

We dinner at Izakaya Ichiban yesterday (29-Aug).
We ordered 2 cups of hot green tea and a platter of sushi which special serving for 2 pax.
The platter came with 25 pieces of traditional Osaka-style sushi; such as : Unagi, ebi, salmon, tori teriyaki and grilled Saba fish. Also, seafood spaghetti salad, edamame, potato salad.

The sushi were made with a special mould and everything served in very nice, attractive and neat appearance.
Thumbs up + yummy spaghetti and potato salad. I like them the most.
Second time tried on edamame, it was great and fresh.
The sushi rice is very special and new to me, which they have mixed something in it and not like other normal sushi that serves in plain rice. Some of them have seaweed in it, some comes with 2 layers (Minced purple cabbage/orange rice), some with thin layer of meat in it. Nice. They are so creative.

The sushi are fresh and nice that the rice was not hard as when I dined in at Robot sushi, One Utama.
I believed that they prepared it upon customers arrival.

Erm..but the location of this restaurant is slightly put out of sight. We spent about 20mins to turn round and round in the shopping mall to get the correct destination. Haha..Izakaya is just located opposite to Kim Gary, we cant noticed at all before the direction from receptionist.

Anyway, the staffs are very polite and good services. Will back again for the special sushi.

- Gelare @ E-Curve

Gelare Ice-cream.

RM9 instead of RM17.90 for a Waffle + One Scoop of Premium Ice Cream from Geláre. Choice of maple or chocolate syrup.

I passing by Gelare always when after movie, but yet to have a chance to try on it.
Recently, I saw a special promo from Gelare; 50% off for a Waffle + one scope of ice cream. I straight away bought 2 vouchers in a very quick respond. (Tought of inviting more people to try it together as well.)
Haha.. Ops.. Time passes fast, the vouchers are expiring soon.
Well, me and Ken decided just to redeem the vouchers after THE CARS 2 movie on last Sunday - 28th Aug.

The staffs were very good manners in serving us.
We were allowed to taste/test and choose the ice-cream flavor that we like.
I ordered Dark chocolate + choco syrup and Ken ordered Jamaican chocolate + Maple syrup.

That was great and nice Waffle; but too much that 1 people having 1 Waffle. We were too fulled after finished the waffles. That will be great and fine if 2 sharing one, please just order 1 if you sharing it with your boy friend or girl friend. (We skipped our dinner after the waffles :D)

Very fast, the place getting more crowded; I guess a lot customers came here to redeem the vouchers, since they are expiring on 28th Aug 2011. Haha... Will come again, but only for Ice-cream as the waffle is too satiety to me. Ice-cream is quite nice to me. Yum Yum.. ^_^

- Seduisant Skin & Bodyline Sdn Bhd - Kelana Jaya Giant

Bought 2 vouchers for my sister and mummy to have their first facial in saloon.
Seduisant is a beauty saloon that located in a very dark corner in Giant Shopping Center, but still easy for me to find it out.

When first step entered the main entrance, we smelled that something smelly from entrance to waiting room. I asked the receptionist; "What smell is that, so smelly?!!"; guess what?! She replied me "Oh.. Our staff is eating there, that is smell of food."...
Hahaha.. OMG.. me and my sis were laughing there. I whispered to my sis: "Oh..now I know they are eating shit, so smelly..Hahaha.." Our laughter getting louder there.

The receptionist seems not happy with us. Showing us 'dark face' and process our registration. I snapping 1 photo in front of her, just for my blog, the receptionist asked : "Why you take photo?Anything?"; I said : "No, that is just for my blog." Then she quiet and said "Your mum and sis wait there (long sofa), now no room ready yet for you both". Ermm... the attitude is bad. Luckily, another 2 beauticians came and served them with very good and polite attitudes.. Great one..Muaks..

I left my sis and mum there for the facial while I waiting them in Starbucks.
2 hours later, they came to me. They commented that their services not bad, and not so pushy to sign up their courses. Well, this is very good business attitude to let customers feel comfortable and might plan for next visit. But, the receptionist should change her bad attitude to get more customers. Hahaha...else her acting will just "chasing" customers.

- Clinique High Impact Mascara (Recommended)

Clinique High Impact Mascara :

- Trying to get a 100% water-proof mascara?
- Having problem to 100% get your mascara removed when home?
- Wishing to have longer and thicker eye lashes like a doll?

Great, then you should try on this High Impact Mascara, which you can purchase from any Clinique counters that cost you just RM65. I am so happy with the result after applying it. Your eye lashes will become thicker and longer. Never worry that the mascara will spread around your eyes' area (especially our eye bags) when sweating/swimming or anything that to do with water. It is water-proof and totally different from other water-proof mascaras. Your eyes keep clean whenever your are.

Lastly, the most important is you can 100% easily remove it with eyes make up remover or just even with warm water (using cotton). That is COOL... No wonder this is one of the best sellers of Clinique products.

** Save cost to buy eye make up remover.. haha...
** Tips : Make up remover for eyes can be use for lips as well. Whatever designed for eyes can be use for lips. (But of course, not applying mascara/eyes shadows/eyes liner on lips, that's funny. hahaha...just for sharing that, those designed for eyes are suite for lips. We need to protect our lips as well to avoid wrinkles around our mouth area.)

Clinique customers review:

High Impact Mascara
Kicks up the volume and length of each and every lash for a look that’s lusher, plusher, bolder. Pure, deep colour only adds to the impact. Wear it once and you’ll feel naked without it. Ophthalmologist Tested.
