S.W.I.N.E in Publlika
Nice dining place that recommended by my bestie..
When I have doubt on what should I order, my friend just say : " Everything here is so yummy, just order anything you want!"
Well, we ordered a nyonya curry pork rice + lemongrass pork chop with rice + soya milk + pig in blanket.
Really, all food is so yummy.. haha.. crunchy bacoon, sweet sour pork chop, rich curry pork..
Omg.. 2 crazy women really finished everything of these... scary <3
Dining In The Dark - Good place to pay full attention for chatting/understand each order
Upon arrival, we were served with welcome drinks; each of us get a choice of cocktail.
We were placed at the "waiting place" and asked to play some games with us to warm us up before dining in the "dark"; eg: separate the paper clips from the rice in a small bottle with eyes folded.
Once we were ready, all our belongings were required to keep in a cupboard, no handphone, no touch light, no wallet, keep everything into the cupboard.
We were assigned to a waiter and each of us putting our right hand on the front people's shoulder, walking in one by one. The waiter kept clapping his hands to give some signals to the people around that, new guest are coming in.
Very soon (2-3mins), we reached our seats which near to the kitchen.
We were guided on how to get the fork, spoon, drinks, napkin, and the sequence of the food served; eg: we should be follow clock wise...
The set meal included starter, soup, main course and dessert. They really served in very special way and the ingredients are quite special too, eg: ostrich, boar... (portion can say consider small)
The best thing here is, we can pay full attention in our conversation as no interruption of mobile phone. ^.^y
That was fantastic and romantic dinner for my first anniversary with hubby.
Good batch for brunch
He he..
Second time here..
It is always crowded.
Waiting for 15mins Q.
Ordered Portobello Road, Norwegian and Ang Moh + Latte, fresh milk and iced choco
Norwegian - Nice Poached Egg serve with Salmon - make me drooling
Portobello Road - Nice Poached Eggs serve with Porto Mushroom - make me drooling
Ang Moh - Big western breakfast portion - I should order either of the above one..
All accompany with organic vege.. Its really healthy but slightly pricey on the price.Omg.. All the drinks are so yummylicious..
Definitely a good choice for brunch always ..
D'Dream Cafe ~~
Mmm.. Nothing much to commend.
Hahah can see we were the only customers during the lunch time at 1.30pm on Saturday.
Nice environment for Doraemon Lovers..
Food portion is super small..
Restaurant KIP Seafood Noodles House - Another hidden place with nice food and good price
Mr Bong brought us here. He highly recommended the all food here..
Ha ha.. sound he got shares with this restaurant..
Very high reputation for seafood and all expensive oriental food e.g: "Buddha Jump Over The Wall @ RM33 per serving", "Phoenix Sharkfin @ RM1000"....
We ordered the "Lam Lam fried mee fun", "Signature Fried Rice", "Bak Fa Gai", "Shu Miu chao Ai gua - Brinjal".
Today we were lucky that the boss "Lam Lam" took the order for us by himself.
He had recommended the 2 faces fish - forgotten the name (but all menus can get from their walls); 1 side is steamed, 1 side is fried.. Ha ha.. we only have 3 ppl, dont think we can finish it - This round we skip.
He he.. overall is satisfied.. Even though we drank with plenty of water :P (cause of MSG?)
Will come again with parent and family, this is really a good place for family gathering to have meal at reasonable price.
Boat Noodles @ Empire Damansara ~~ Lols.... 1h40m Q??!!
Wanna try this some time ago.. But.. worrying on the Q.. :(
Well, today me and hubby came the mood on trying this...
27-7, Hari Raya eve, we reached at 12.20pm....
mmm guess what?? They are serving #26 customer and our token # is 51..
Omg.. being estimated to wait for 1hr...
Well.. ha ha..
Can see a lot customers dissatisfied with the long long Q, some gave up and gone, some keep mumbling there, some waiting patiently, some with very "annoying" face.. (My dad was 1 of them that showing "annoying" face)
Phew.. Wait for 1h40m.. Finally we can take our brunch at 2pm..
This restaurant is quick small, guessing 1 time max can serve up to 60ppl? And the staff, work with quite slow motions - tiring??
That's why we need to wait for so so so so long.. :'( The time we got in, i think the Q had reached #90++...
Dry noodles tasted so so to me, but the soup noodles was quite special which came with sour and spicy.
Both chicken and beef are the same, lols... just when serving, the mini "meat slices" are either chicken or beef..
I had 6 bowls of it... Total we had 30bowls for 4 pax...
Each bowl can be finished with just 2 spoon feed...
Mmm.. 6 * rm1.90, actually is quite pricey with the portion..
Finishing the meal with Pandan dessert.. mum commended is like malay pandan kuih..
Again.. taste so so.. ha ha
Anyway, this is reall a crazy try.. as I think I will not come back for the crazy Q unless someone volunteer for it..

- Had my dinner with friend at Xian Ding Wei, The Curve
- Yu Zu @ The Garden Midvalley
Yu Zu:
Classy Japanese interior designAuthentic Fusion Japanese fine dining
Nice, big, neat, friendly and good service Japanese restaurant.
I always passing by Yu Zu when window shopping in The Garden or Midvalley.
Everything looks nice and class. Wondering how much the basic meal cost :P. Yet to try.
Finally I had a chance to dine in there.
We ordered Yuzu Gozen set which comes with :
- Assorted Sashimi
- Assorted Sushi
- Tempura
- Stone Grilled Beef / Chicken (cooked medium to retain much of its juiciness and natural flavor.)
- Egg Custard ( Chawamushi)
- 2 small appetizer
- Teapot Soup (flavorful with lots of ingredients like mushroom, ginkgo, chicken and leek)
- Salad
Those foods are yummy and taste good. Fresh sashimi, great sushi, crispy+crunchy tempura, hot and delicious chicken (even it too little to me, just 5-6 small slices), good teapot soup and salad. I had my perfect and full lunch here. The bill cost about RM100++. Slightly expensive but still worth to try at least one dining here.

- Veneeze @ Jaya One

Pizza, food again huh? Haha..What to do since I am the food lover. :P
Pizza pizza we love you..
Tried pizzas at Veneeze Jaya One. Erm.... really really really lot choices of pizzas,
but the service is super super super slow.
We spent about 2hours during our lunch. We have about 9 pax in group. Having farewell to one of our colleague - Andrew.
First time tried the fried mushroom, a bit oily but still acceptable. Crispy and crunchy garlic breads - taste not bad, but I prefer their nice pasta.
Haha.. Em.. their pizzas taste slightly common to me. Thin cruft and with different flavors. Okay Okay level.~~
Anyway, it was really a chance for us to sit in same table to have a long chat for 2hours.
TQ Veneeze.

- Japanese Lunch buffet @ Pearl Point Hotel
Haha.. Ermm...
Very obvious, from the photos, you can see the less variety of foods provided from the hotel. I can say that I have uploaded most of the types of foods available during our lunch buffet.
Those photos have been enlarged the size, for sure, the foods look tasty and drooling.
Instead they were not.
Wondering how Japanese buffet with only few types of sushi available and other all local dishes? Erm.. this call Japanese buffet?? Suppose to have some shasimi, variety of sushi, hand rolls and etc?
Sigh, slow service, no replenish of finishing food, no bowl provided, no cold ocha and etc have caused me feel annoying. We need to order/request things we want and wait for their slow respond to get back to us.
Ermm.. no good performance :P Deduct from their KPIs. Haha..
Furthermore, hotel was without wireless set up. Boring and speechless on this.
Haha.. erm..my rating on them is below 10 out of 100.
Sigh, I think the above are more than enough. I also lazy to explain or comment much.
Definitely will have no second visit in this hotel.
LOUSY.
- 2 Main Pasta Dishes + Appetiser Platter for 2 people at Aria Italian Dining & Whisky Bar
Hehe.. Dined in my dinner at Aria Italian, Plaza Damansara. We were the first table served. The house was getting full when darker sky. Good environment for beers/whisky huh? :P That is why getting good business in night time or even midnight?
Soft bread with special dipping sauce (seems like olive oil and certain vinegar)
Taste fresh and good.
Antipasto de la Casa - combination of hot and cold starters: carpaccio di salmone,
carpaccio di manzo, arancini risotto, marinated portabelio, mixed grill vege, artichoke, calamari and zucchini fritti.
Big portion served, I think enough for 3pax. Nice big mushroom and fried squid to me. Delicious Salmon and Beef served on this as well. Taste good.
Spaghetti Vongole
venice clams cooked in white wine style
Cheesy and creamy spaghetti. Not bad but it too much to us.
Fettucine ala Aria - homemade squid ink fettucine cooked with baby scallops, prawn, cherry tomato, flambeed with cognac in white wine style with arugula
Big prawn and medium clams. Nice but spaghetti seems slightly tasteless.
Hehe..Overall the food was great, but it seems too much for 2 pax (it stated on the voucher :P)
Somemore we are big eaters. Perhaps you can share the meals with 3pax.
