- Red Velvet Cake at Seksyen 14

Hehe..
Attended 3.5 hours hands on Red Velvet Bakery session.
Each of us get to bring home 1/3 of the whole cake.
The class was conducted by Nicholas Pillai.


We learnt how to bake Red velvet cake; how to make chocolate butter cream and cheese icing.
How to apply the icing to cake; how to decorate the cake and etc..


Ermm.. Our icing was too watery, so you can see it was melting after we applied it on cake. Hahaha... Nice chocolate butter cream and cheese icing if we taste them separately. But they were too sweet to me if eat together as cake. Too bad :P

# Nicholas Pillai is currently doing a PhD. in Food and Culinary Management and is the co-author of Healthy Eating – Recipes for the Asian Palate.
